TWO masked bandits have used a stolen vehicle to ram-raid a chemist store on the Gold Coast.

TWO masked bandits have used a stolen vehicle to ram-raid a chemist store on the Gold Coast.

The raid occurred at the Ashmore Plaza shopping centre, on Cotlew St, around 2.30am (AEST) on Monday.

A police spokeswoman said the offenders used the car, possibly a white Mitsubishi Galant, to slam through a glass window and gain access to the store.

She said they then stole a number of items from the chemist, although they're not believed to have taken any cash.
